Workshop for staff officers of the Registrar General’s Department was held at Kandy on 01st & 02nd of November 2009 under the Equal Access to Justice Project under the National Constitutional Affairs and National Integration.
Officers were made aware of how to provide an efficient and excellent service to the Public. All acts and ordinances and circulars relevant to the Department, i.e.: Document registration ordinance, Title registration act Birth, Marriage and Death registration act, Registration of attorney act were distributed among the officers who participated in the workshop.
All Tamil medium officers attached to the Northern and Eastern provinces participated in this event.
At the end of the workshop, the officers were given the opportunity to visit the Land Registry, Kandy which provides an excellent service. |
