Obtaining Translated Copies of Birth Certificates

Time for accepting applications:
- From 9.00 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. on working days of the week.
- Closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.
Application forms can be obtained from the offices where translators are serving or from the website. 
Documents to be Submitted,
- The duly completed application form
- The original copy of the document to be translated or a certified copy obtained from a Divisional Secretariat
- If receiving by post, in addition to the above requirements, a stamped envelope bearing the recipient's address.
Translation Fees,
- The fee for one translated copy is Rs. 600.00.
- Any number of translated copies can be obtained.
