The government has declared a National Environment Week from May 30, 2026, to June 05, 2026, in conjunction with World Environment Day, which falls annually on June 05.
The final day of this program falls on June 05, and that day has been dedicated to tree planting and celebrating World Environment Day.
Simultaneously with Environment Day, the Registrar General's Department also contributed to environmental conservation by implementing a tree-planting program on June 05, 2026, within the department premises.
