Initiated by the Internal Affairs Unit of the Registrar General's Department, a training program on the "Anti-Corruption Act" was conducted by the department's Training Division on April 21, 2026, at the Head Office Auditorium.
With the resource contribution of Mr. T.I.S. Srilal, Anti-Corruption Officer of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption, this program was held in two sessions from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM and from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, with the participation of executive officers and other staff of the Head Office.
Through this program, the officers of the Registrar General's Department were educated on the Anti-Corruption Act No. 09 of 2023, the necessity of preventing bribery and corruption, integrity, and the potential consequences of bribery and corruption.
