Searching for Documents
- Inspecting extracts related to a land can be done at the Land Registry of the area where the land is situated.
- Inspecting duplicate copies of a deed and obtaining certified copies can be done at the Land Registry to which the relevant notary hands over their duplicate copies.
Method of Application
By a notary or their authorized representative.
Search Application
- The prescribed printed application must be completed and submitted.
- Application form A33(A) for inspecting land registers
- Application form A33(B) for inspecting deeds and duplicate copies
- The application must be signed and sealed by the notary. If a representative is submitting the application, a letter of authorization must be submitted.
Fees
- Search fees must be paid in cash.
- The fee for one land is Rs. 600.00.
